Opening day for the Ross & Marlins

March 27th, 2008 — article by

Wild horses can’t hold him back and Fredi agrees………Don’t you just love those headlines. I made that up so to speak. Odds are Cody will start in centerfield come opening day. Damn, I would have won alot of money if those no balls Marlins posters would have taken my bet. I predicted this at the end of last year. I hate to say I told you so, but I did. Go Ross. Go Marlins. It was kind of a no brainer…….

Marlins had the day off today so I just cruzed the Marlins site and decided to go to the depth chart. Low and behold they listed Cody as starting centerfield. What? For all the time I have been following Cody and the Marlins. Ross has never ever been listed as starter on the Depth chart. What gives fellas? Did you finally see the light. There is a God!!!!

Way to go Cody!!! Gotta lot of names going on for the outfield with the Marlins this year. Competition make the game better don’t it. Ross is comming on so stay tuned to whats happening in spring trainging this year. I will try and keep you updated as I possibly can. Work is keeping me away from this site. Please bear with me.  De Aza, Maybin, and Carrol are all having good days. There is going to be some cuttin heads for the centerfield spot. Hermida is not doing so well. Go figure. I would hate to be in Freddi’s shoes right now. ITs just too close to call. Remember, ITs just spring training………You got pitchers trying to make the team and batters trying to do there thing and coaches trying to figure out who will fill out the team.  Ha Ha Ha.

Ross gets two RBI’s today

Playing right field, Ross gets two hits and two rbi’s against the Cardinals today. Way to go Cody. Although the Marlins lost the game, Cody drives in the only runs the Marlins score. In the clutch Cody. Keep up the good work brother.
