Ross back on the field
Cody comes off the 15 day disabled list with a strained calf. The first game for Ross was the opener with the Braves. Yep, he got to face his buddy Dan Uggla. Ross was still a little dusty at the plate going 0-3. Today was a different story. Ross hit a single on the first pitch by Hudson driving in Pat Burrel who was on second base. Later in the game Ross arm was evidently warmed up just fine picking off a runner going to second base. Later he got to slide into his bud Dan Uggla breaking up a double play. Ross is back in the game doing his thing. Cody was 2-4 on the day but the Giants lost to the strong pitching from Hudson.
Cody always seems to get into the limelight one way or the other and this year is no different. Ross and Brian Wilson made a video to raise money for a strange disease and it hit Youtube with over a million views in 4 days. Thats fame baby. Good luck Cody Ross this full year with the Giants. Can they repeat the world series from last year? Your guess is as good as mine as the Giants are getting off to a slow start with so so pitching and the bats just aren’t quite there yet. Defense is also a little shakey. Panda has lost like 40 lbs and has gained speed, Tajada is more than capable at shortstop if he can stay healthy. Lets go Giants repeat!!!
