Ross goes on the DL.

After staying off this sight for the first 1/3 of the season afraid of doing Cody in. Yes, all baseball players and fans are superstitious. I can now speak as a fan. Cody was probably having the best season of his career with Boston when that stray foul ball hit his foot after hitting a double and a home run. Damn! Tied with the most homeruns and RBI’s for Boston, it was the worst time for him to go on the DL. That dreaded DL. No its not 15 or 30 but likely 60 day DL for a fractured bone in his foot. He will be back. Gotta get that foot healed. The good news is it wasn’t his hamstring which has hampered him in the past. Injuries are part of the game in baseball, but it was bad luck for Ross. He will lose his incentives for games played and whatever else was in his contract. Part of the game I guess. Boston is struggling to stay at .500 and have had a slew of players on the DL. Six outfielders have fallen to the DL fate as the season started. Carl Crawford has had numerous set backs, Elsbury with a dislocated shoulder, Sweeny with a concussion and the list goes on. Can Boston come back? You bet! Even though Boston is in last place, they are only 4 games back from the lead. Lot of baseball left and I predict Ross will come back with a storm!!! Cody stay off the foot…………………
