Ross has his third homerun of the season coming off the bench to bat against left handers platooning with Amezega. Whats with that? In the 5th inning Ross comes to bat again and hits another one out of the park just foul. Next pitch Cody hits one off the wall for a double and two more RBI’s. Marlins lose tonite 11-6. Cody was responsible for 5 of the 6 runs the Marlins scored. My question is why are the Marlins not playing this guy? I really don’t get it. Amezega is batting  .204, Borchard is batting .209.

Ross is batting .333 with 3 home runs for the year in just 35 games played. Being the best defensive player and offensive player  the Marlins have in the outfield, I just don’t get it. Are the Marlins setting him up for a trade? Ross’s stats are the best in the outfield to date. Granted his hits being against left handers as helped his stats platooning in the outfield with Amezega and Borchard, but give me a break. Give this kid a chance. I have always questioned stats as the defining worth as a player but now that we go to the stats……………Ross leads all the outfield in hitting and defense but he still sits the bench. I thought I liked Fredi as a manager, but after the first month of the season I have to ask the question as to why Cody is not starting in
Center or Right field? Cody has more rbi’s than Willingham in the thick of things with half the bats. What are you gonna dooooooooo? I reallly thought the Marlins organization had more scruples.
