You know that arm
Its really frustrating listening to baseball. Mainly because we don’t get to see good plays. Cody had one the other day with a strike to home plate from right field. Cody is 1-7 thus far.
The Marlins are having a horrible start at the plate. Nobody is hitting. Borchard leads the whole team with 4 hits. Everyone else has 2 or less hits. Hopefully its just a slow start for our bats. Here is how the centerfield race is going so far.
Borchard is 4-7 batting .571
Sanchez is 2-8 .250
Abercrombie is 1-4 .250
Eeric Reed 1-5 .200
Cody Ross 1-7 .143 one assist
On a good note Cody was the only Marlin to get a hit that day…….. Spring training record after today is 1 win 4 losses. Marlins lost to the Cards 12-3. Ah its still early.
Ahh but the good news is in their last game (or maybe the one before that) I read an article that said there was almost a ‘No No’ pitched against them until who, but Cody Ross lined a drive into the outfield with 2 outs in the 7th.
So when you have guys like Cabrerra in there, and Cody is the one who comes through, doesn’t make it look so bad. I know its a team sport and all, but hey, this is his fan site *insert evil grin here*
