I think Ross will stay in Boston!

Cody Ross gets greeted by teamates after hitting a 3-run walk-off homerun
Of course rumors are flying with the return of Elsbury and Crawford. Too many outfielders, somebody’s got to go. Cody has trade value. It just went up a notch or two after a stellar series with the White Sox. Game three, Ross hits two home runs with six rbi’s to beat Chicago 10-1. Enter game 4 of the series Boston down 1-0 bottom of the ninth, Ross comes to bat with runners on first and second. BOMB! See ya. Walk off home run and Cody’s 16th of the year. Boston knows who Cody Ross is for sure now. No Cody Gump here! Cody Ross bonified clutch hitter to say the least!

I have to admit, I didn’t know who Cody Ross was before he came to Boston. Being a Life Long Die Hard Red Sox Fan, I hope he will be here for the rest of his career. What I mean by that is during an interview with Ted Williams he said one of the secrets of his great career was his career playing for the Red Sox even with two War interruptions. Know ing where you will be year after year and picking your retirement date was the basis along with talent for my career. Cody has a great attitude, like Pedroia, he’s a hustler and a team player and the kind we need for any kind of consistency in our team. We change players way too much and over pay consistently. We have a fantastic Farm System and that should be our talent pool not our checkbook. We can’t get Cody Ross’s all the time, we lucked out this time!
Nice going Cody, your fun to watch!

My daughter still misses “Tha’ Boss”…She wears her Ross shirt to each Giants game religiously. We still root for him every time we see him on Sportscenter. Coming back to SF?..Highly unlikely, but my little girl would just lose her 9-year old mind if he did.
Ross is Boss. Amen.

With the current vacancy in left field, and the lack of production from the current fill in’s, would Cody Ross consider a return to the Giants?
Cody “The Boss” Ross, fit in well here in SF, and I think his presence would do wonders for this ball club. It would be great to see Cody back in Black and Orange again.
