Dat darn Hammy
Cody left the game on Monday after a tightness in his left hamstring. The same one he pulled earlier this year. He felt the hamstring tighten up when he hit a home run against the Nats on 9-11. That is scary to hear after such a great season going since the allstar break. Ross is hitting .356 after the break making him the 9th best batter in the National league and the leader for the Marlins. Wow. Cody is listed as day to day, I sure hope he won’t play if he is hurt. Don’t get me wrong I love it when Ross plays but at this time in the season what is the point? IF he tweaks it again the injury could be worse. . Last year on 9-11 Cody had his 3 homer night with 7 RBI’s against the Mets. Ross still leads the team in batting average with a .336.
The entire Ross family is going to Denver this week to see the Marlins play the Rockies. I hope Cody plays healthy and you guys have a great trip……..
