The first Giants post on Cody
It was one of those nights where I flipped the channel to the Dodgers/Giants game. It was 0-0 in the fourth I think and the Dodgers put up 4 runs on the board. When I tuned in I was wondering if Cody was going to play…..Wala he was at bat and struck out. Shucks! Cody had walked in the second but the Giants were not hitting. Cody was 0-2 with a walk. Giants come back with homeruns and are down in 8th inning 4-3. Cody comes to bat and gets a single beating out a throw from the shortstop. Next batter hits a home run and the Giants are up 5-4. Now bottom of the ninth and the Giants are up 5-4. Cody you still got speed brother, nice hustle to beat out that great play by the shortstop. The more I watch the Giants the more I like em. Now the bottom of the ninth and runners on first and third with two outs. Johnson up to bat 1 ball no strikes…..Hard hit ball to Sandoval and throws to second to end the game…….Way to go Ross…………After listening to the post game show, not much mentioned about Ross’ single in the ninth. I guess its all about home runs. I do not get a good vibe on this. Without Cody’s single, they could still be playing baseball! Just a thought…Bochy finally gives it up for Cody…..Giants still in the race.
These damn teams or announcers never give Cody credit. Thats okay Cody we got your back!
Sucks to see Andre Torres get an appendicitis but now Cody gets to play! Maybe he can do some good for them at the end of the season. Go Cody!
